REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION (26-01-2012)



We celebrated the Republic day with all pride and patriotism .The Principal Dr. Margaret George, hoisted the flag at 8.15 AM. Volunteers sung national integration songs loudly while hoisting the flag. After that Principal gave the message to the volunteers.
She stressed the importance and relevance of republic day celebration in present scenario. Programme officer Prof. Simi.K.Vijayan shared some thoughts with the students in the light of terrorism and fascism.  Volunteer secretary distributed sweets to the volunteers.
          After that, volunteers made a ‘coin India’, decorated with very old coins which was prevailed in India before and after independence.
