We were very glad to host the Districtwise inauguration of the NSS Day celebration in our college. It was a proudful moment for us.

      Sri.Ramesh Pisharadi, Malayalam Cine-Television Star inaugurated the programme by kindling the step lamp. Prof.M.C.Dileep , member syndicate, M.G.University presided over the function. Prof.C.H.Abdul Latheef , member syndicate , M.G.University, Dr.Margret George, College principal,Prof. K.K Rajeev,College Vice principal, Sri Akhil Nath UUC, Govt. College, Tripunithura were present and felicitated the occasion. 

     Kum. Shilpa Raj, NSS volunteer, welcomed the gathering . Kum. Rekha , NSS volunteer secretary, Gov. college Tripunithura delivered the vote of thanks.

We arranged an orientation class on 22.09.2012. Sri. Joshy Varghese, Faculty of Rajagiri College, Kalamassery handled the session. He stressed the relevance of NSS,how to improve the performance of NSS.  He also added that our youth is been affected by less service mentality and other problems faced by today’s youth. He said that the students must try to form a cultural and traditional gathering in every village under the banner of NSS volunteers.

                   The occasion have been started with the welcome of  Aneesh a NSS volunteer and the same was concluded by Nimya Thankappan an other NSS volunteer.

Another prestigious moments of our NSS units is the inaugural ceremony of Post graduate courses in the college. This programme is fully managed by the ‘Event Management Team’ of our NSS unit in a professional way.  On 17.9.2012 the inauguration of our college’s PG courses was done by Hon. Excise and Port minister K.Babu. The PG Courses was the long time dream of our college which had came true on the same occasion. .  In this occasion, honorable minister awarded the mementos of PTA to Dr. Margaret George, principal and to Sri. Biju Gopal, NSS Programme Officer and to the NSS unit.

On September 5^th 2012, we celebrated teacher’s day in our college. We conducted a programme named as “GURUVANDANAM”. All the teachers in our college took part in the programme. Principal delivered a Teachers Day message on the occasion. All the teachers shared there experiences happened in their teaching life.

          Kum. Rekha. R, Volunteer Secretary welcomed the gatherings and the Kum. Sabitha , Volunteer Secretary, expressed vote of thanks to all teachers and the students to make the programme a grand success.

ONAM CELEBRATION (24.8.2012)

We celebrated our Onam on 24.8.2012 .On behalf of NSS we had conducted two challenging and interesting competitions ie; Malayalee manka and malayala sreeman for both girls & boys in our college. Lots of students had took participation in the competition. The participants were in traditional dresses of kerala and they answered the questions of judges.

Two winners were selected from the participants and the winners have been awarded cash prize by the college principal.
